Started in 2004, the Congressional Football Game was first organized to honor and support the men and women of the U.S. Capitol Police, and to support the families of fallen officers.
The annual showdown features Members of Congress from both sides of the aisle alongside former NFL players facing off against members of the U.S. Capitol Police. The family-friendly event includes entertainment and spirited competition on the field, while bringing together the Congressional and law enforcement communities in support of worthy causes.
